This place is THE BEST! I booked a last minute appointment at the Acton location and it was quickly accommodated. I had the “selfie” custom spray tan done, as it was colder weather and I only needed some color on my face and neck. It came out better than I’ve ever seen before - VERY high quality and smelled great. They have a special espresso tan formula that smells and looks better than anything I’ve ever seen. The place is super clean and cute and the employee that took care of me was so professional and thorough and she took so much care and time explaining everything to me. Aglow tan in Acton is my go to spray tan location. In my experience the staff has been consistently friendly and professional. The facility has always been clean and inviting. Aglow has made me glow for many significant events in my life such as vacations, my pandemic wedding ceremony and reception two years later. How to prepare
Day Before
- Exfoliate: Use the AGLOW Exfoliating Mitt to ensure your skin is smooth and ready for the tan.
- Avoid Certain Products: Refrain from using Dove soap, moisturizers, oils, makeup, or deodorants. These can create barriers on your skin and affect your tan’s appearance.
Day Of
- Dress Smartly: Wear loose-fitting, dark clothing and open-toe shoes like flip-flops to prevent smudging when getting dressed.
- Choose Comfortable Attire: During the appointment, you can wear whatever you feel comfortable in. Most women tan topless with a thong or nude, but a dark bathing suit is also fine. Nursing moms can use strapless bras or pasties. Men should wear boxers, boxer briefs, or shorts.
- Prepare Your Nails: Complete any nail treatments or waxing before your appointment. We will wipe down your nails after the tan!
After
- Dress Appropriately: Continue to wear loose-fitting, dark clothing and open-toe shoes like flip-flops to avoid smudging.
- Shower Guidelines: Use lukewarm water for all showers and avoid hot baths and hot tubs.
- Skin Care: Avoid using oils and exfoliators until you are ready to remove the tan. Moisturize after every shower and drink plenty of filtered water to keep your skin hydrated.
- Maintain Your Glow: Your tan will last about 7-10 days with proper care. Apply AGLOW Tan Extender to keep your glow going!
