In order to achieve the best results from our airbrush tanning process, you’ll want to understand proper skin prep. Here’s what you can expect from your session:
Preparing for your airbrush tanning session
If you plan to have a manicure, pedicure, or wax, it’s best to schedule these before your tanning session. We will wipe down your nails immediately after treatment to remove any pigment.
The day before your airbrush tanning appointment:
Gently exfoliate your skin using the Aglow® Exfoliation Mitt or Prep & Glow Kit to eliminate dead skin cells and ensure a long-lasting tan. Also, refrain from products that may adhere to your skin and interfere with the airbrush tanning process. Stay away from oils, makeup, cosmetics, deodorant, moisturizer, and even Dove soap.
On the day of your session:
Wear dark colored, loose-fitting clothing and open-toed shoes to minimize any smudging. Women can choose to tan in the nude or wear a dark-toned swimsuit during the tanning process. Men should wear shorts, boxers, or boxer briefs.
How many sessions to achieve desired intensity?
Unlike tanning beds and direct sun exposure, which can cause burns and adverse short- and long-term effects to achieve a deeper skin tone, our airbrush tans can deliver the perfect shade in a single session.
How long do results last?
Our airbrush tans can give your skin the perfect sun-kissed glow for 7 to 10 days after each session. Keep your skin properly hydrated and avoid exfoliation and excessive sweating to maintain your results.
